Hi.I have been fishing for nearly 40years and at various times involved in many branches of the sport.In more recent times I have devoted my time to the joy of rivers and in particular,Barbel.I would class myself as a novice on a steep learning curve.Occasional trips to the Teme,Severn,Wye and Kennet have all produced a few to just over 10lbs.Most recently I have focused my efforts on the delightful upper Medway.In truth I am struggling with only two proper ones to a best of 8lbs 14oz.Historically I have fished alone but look forward to being part of the sociable scene that defines Medway angling.

An untimely ill health retirement following an accident prevents me fishing as often as I would like.My trips are usually weekdays to leave the banks free at weekends for the employed.
